A YOUTH LED APPROACH TO PEACEFUL COEXISTENCE
THE CAMP
In partnership with two local organizations, the Lebanese Organization of Studies and Training (LOST) in the Bekaa Valley and the Development for People and Nature Association (DPNA) in the South of Lebanon, Search for Common Ground, through the “Better Together” summer camps, training sessions and workshops, will enable 320 youth over a period of two years to learn how to express themselves through the arts, which will result in them becoming positive leaders and role models in their respective communities.
By developing non-adversarial relationships, the project will increase trust between the youth to facilitate an environment in which they can disseminate and implement peace-building narratives and activities within their communities and provide a safe space where they can break down the stereotypes and prejudices they have of each other.
